Cliff Thorburn Named National Head Coach of Cue Sports

The Canadian Billiards and Snooker Association (CBSA) is proud to announce the appointment of Cliff Thorburn as the national head coach of cue sports.
Cliff’s reputation and accomplishments speak for themselves. A former world professional snooker champion, he has been inducted into Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame and appointed to the Order of Canada for his contributions to the sport.
Cliff’s mandate as Canada’s head coach is to grow the sport through education and to broaden awareness of cue sports on a national scale. He will work closely with the CBSA to set up coaching programmes in all the major centres from coast to coast. The CBSA has affiliations in Vancouver, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Toronto, Kitchener-Waterloo, Ottawa, Fredericton, Saint John, Moncton, Halifax and Sydney, to name a few.
The CBSA is nationally recognised as the governing body of cue sports in Canada.
